New York Announces 2019 Paid Family Leave Employee Contributions Limit Friday, November 30, 2018 | Comprehensive Service New York’s Paid Family Leave provides employees with job-protected, paid time off to bond with a newly born, adopted or fostered child, care for a family member with a serious health condition, or assist when a family member is deployed abroad on active military service. Employees pay for these benefits through a small weekly payroll deduction, which is a percentage of weekly wages up to an annual maximum. The 2019 payroll contribution rates are effective January 1, 2019 as provided below. 2019 New York Paid Family Leave Rates *Average Weekly Wage $1,357.11 Contribution Rate 0.153% Maximum Contribution $107.97 ADP will update the contribution rates for the New York Paid Family Leave effective with the first pay date of 2019.
