OSHA Revised Hazard Communication Deadline: June 1st

The final deadline for OSHA’s Revised Hazard Communication Standard is June 1st

 

By that time, employers must have:

 

  1. Updated workplace chemical labeling to comply with the Globally Harmonized System (GHS) requirements;
  2. Updated their written Hazard Communication program to comply with GHS elements; and
  3. Provided training for newly identified physical or health hazards.
